Role Overview

Tshwane University of Technology is seeking a qualified and motivated candidate for the position of Part-Time Admin Assistant at the Pretoria Campus. This role is ideal for a reliable individual with strong administrative skills who can assist with office operations and student support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Office Administration
    • Assist with general office duties as directed by the supervisor and Head of Department (HOD).
    • Manage filing systems and handle document organization.
  • Student Support
    • Handle student inquiries and provide general information to ensure positive engagement.
    • Take initiative to identify and complete tasks that enhance office efficiency.
  • Communication and Data Entry
    • Answer and screen incoming calls professionally.
    • Perform data entry and typing tasks accurately and efficiently.
  • General Office Support
    • Assist with office orders and maintain inventory.
    • Support with essential daily administrative tasks.

Minimum Requirements

  • Qualifications
    • National Diploma in Office Management and Technology, or an equivalent qualification.
  • Experience
    • Previous experience in an administrative role.
