VACANCY: Call Centre Agent (x3) – 12-Month Contract

Position Details:
- Job Title: Call Centre Agent
- Type: Temporary (12-month contract)

Main Purpose of the Job:
To conduct telephonic data collection from households in the Gauteng Research Triangle (GRT-Inspired, including Hillbrow, Melusi, and Atteridgeville West).
Key Performance Areas:
- Administer telephonic questionnaires and accurately input data into the database.
- Achieve daily data collection targets.
- Identify and escalate issues when necessary.
- Route calls to relevant resources.
- Maintain accurate documentation as per standard operating procedures.
- Educate respondents about GRT-Inspired research activities.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the line manager.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum Education: Grade 12.
- Desirable Experience and Skills:
- Fieldwork or call centre experience is advantageous.
- Strong data capturing and typing skills.
- Clear voice projection.
- Empathy with respondents.
- Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
- Minimum Work Experience: 1-year experience as a fieldworker or call centre agent.
