Job Summary
This programme offers South African youth the chance to gain 12 months of work experience within Clover’s Production and Distribution Department.
The initiative operates across Clover’s branches, including:
- Clayville
- CDC Cape Town
- Polokwane
- Bloemfontein
- CDC KZN
- Port Elizabeth
- Queensburgh
- Atlas Distribution

Eligibility Requirements
To qualify, applicants must:
- Be aged between 18 and 33 years.
- Possess a Matric qualification.
- Be currently unemployed.
- Have not previously participated in a learnership programme with another organisation.

Duties and Responsibilities
Warehouse Management
- Align stock management with the Warehouse Management System.
- Receive, dispatch, re-supply, and locate stock.
- Oversee stock movement, repacking, and prevent losses.
System Maintenance
- Update systems with new or discontinued products.
- Set up scanners and maintain accurate stock location records.
- Compare weighbridge statistics with claims.
Housekeeping, Safety, and Security
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
- Enforce safety regulations.
Warehouse Productivity
- Optimize resource allocation and improve operational efficiency.
- Minimize idle time and maximize productivity.
Administration
- Process documentation for trucks and drivers.
- Capture and monitor satellite and interbranch reports.
- Print invoices and manage load sheets post-picking.
- Address deviations in truck arrival times and close routes in ERMS.
Stock Management
- Receive, store, and issue stock or parts.
- Conduct stock counts, cycle counts, and handle returns.
- Ensure compliance with GMP and proper documentation standards.
