Programme Overview

The Mine Health and Safety Council (MHSC) offers a 24-month Graduate Internship Programme designed to provide unemployed South African graduates with practical workplace experience and skills to enhance employability.

The programme runs from 01 February 2025 to January 2027 and includes placements in the following business units:

  • Research: 3 positions
  • Supply Chain: 1 position
  • Finance: 1 position
  • Human Capital: 1 position
  • Governance: 1 position

Eligibility Requirements

  • Education:
    • Degree or equivalent in:
      • Mining, Engineering, or related fields
      • Supply Chain Management or Logistics
      • Finance or Accounting
      • Industrial Psychology or Human Resources
      • Governance or related disciplines
  • Additional Criteria:
    • Must be a South African citizen
    • Age: 18–35 years as of 01 February 2025
    • Must be an unemployed graduate
