Herotel invites suitably qualified candidates to apply for the Cleaner position at their Sedgefield office.
Purpose of the Role
The Cleaner will be responsible for performing various tasks to maintain cleanliness and ensure a sanitary environment in office buildings and common areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform basic cleaning tasks, including dusting, mopping, sweeping, waxing floors, and vacuuming.
- Clean and disinfect restrooms, door handles, and surfaces.
- Refill supplies such as toilet paper and paper towels.
- Handle spills, broken glass, and other messes promptly.
- Conduct routine inspections to maintain sanitation standards.
- Report low cleaning supply levels.
Required Skills & Experience
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Proactive and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and reliability.
- Understanding of standard cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Physically capable of performing 8 hours of physical work daily.
- Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively in English.
Education Requirements
- No formal qualifications required (Grade 12 or equivalent advantageous).
