Job Summary

Requirements
- Grade 12 or equivalent NQF4 qualification.
- Proficiency in Business English.
- Availability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
Stock Management
- Efficiently control and order stock in-store and in back-up areas.
- Minimize returns and ensure adherence to stock control measures.
- Prevent out-of-stock situations and report issues to the Area Manager (AM).
- Place accurate and timely orders as per the ordering schedule.
Shelf Management
- Maintain neat, clean, and well-stocked shelves.
- Follow store flow and apply basic merchandising principles.
- Ensure fridge organization and upkeep.
- Properly position and maintain Point of Sale (POS) materials.
- Keep accurate product labeling and shelf plans.
Equipment and Crate Control
- Comply with company policies regarding crate and equipment use.
Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with store management, Area Managers, Head Office, customers, and fellow merchandisers.
Administrative Duties
- Maintain relevant records and documentation for stock and shelving.
- Identify and seize opportunities to enhance product visibility in-store.
