AfriSam (South Africa) is looking for a dedicated and qualified candidate to join our team as a Warehouse Attendant at our Bloemfontein Depot.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out all warehouse duties, including offloading and loading of palletised cement, bulk handling, and stock stacking in the yard.
Ensure the correct loading of transporter vehicles as per weight distribution and Traffic Road Regulations.
Report any breakages or missing bags.
Verify that the correct product type, packaging, and quantity are loaded as per authorization.
Assist in re-bagging and repacking cement when necessary.
Operate a forklift to move palletised products efficiently.
Maintain high Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) standards.

Qualifications & Experience:

Education: Grade 12 / Amended Senior Certificate / NCV Level 4 / Technical Matric (N3 with four technical subjects and two official languages).
License: 8-ton Forklift Driver’s License.
Experience: At least one year in a similar industry, preferably with experience in bulk handling equipment and forklift operation.

Skills & Knowledge:

Strong proficiency in forklift operation.
Ability to handle bulk materials efficiently.
Understanding of safe pallet stacking procedures.
Knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) risks.
