Introduction
Clicks Group is seeking dedicated and customer-oriented individuals to join our team as Shop Assistant Cashiers at multiple locations. This role focuses on delivering excellent customer service, ensuring efficient point-of-sale (POS) operations, and maintaining merchandising standards to enhance the customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
Accurately and efficiently execute all point-of-sale transactions.
Ensure precise scanning of merchandise and correct processing of payments, including Clicks ClubCard rewards.
Handle cash and transactions safely at all times.
Promote and enroll new members into the Clicks ClubCard program to achieve participation targets.
Inform customers about ongoing promotions to drive sales and enhance their shopping experience.
Provide exceptional customer service by acting as a brand ambassador and ensuring a friendly, professional interaction.
Maintain store presentation and merchandising standards.
Stay up to date with product offerings, promotions, and events to provide accurate information to customers.
Required Knowledge & Skills

Basic mathematical calculations.
Understanding of Retail/FMCG operations, merchandising, and promotions.
Knowledge of stock management procedures.

Minimum Requirements
Experience:

Essential: Grade 12 (Matric).
Desirable: Minimum of 50% in Maths and English at Grade 12 level.
