About the Learnership

Are you currently unemployed and eager to start your career in the health industry? If you live within 30 km of Parc Du Cap, Bellville, and have a passion for client service, this learnership opportunity is for you!

Duration: 12 months (1 May 2025 – 30 April 2026)
Qualification: Occupational Certificate: Health Care Benefits Advisor (NQF Level 5, SAQA ID 105030)
Experience: Gain both theoretical knowledge and practical workplace training in medical aid administration and insurance.

Completion of the program does not guarantee permanent employment but provides valuable industry experience and enhances future job prospects.

Who Can Apply?

South African citizens aged 18-30 years
Grade 12 (Matric) completed, with:

  • 40% in Mathematics OR 60% in Mathematical Literacy
  • 50% in English and another South African language
    Computer literacy (advantageous)
    Currently unemployed and able to commit to a full-time, 12-month program
    Not currently enrolled in any tertiary studies (part-time or full-time)
    Have not completed the same Learnership before
    Must be able to commute independently to the workplace

Key Responsibilities

Participate in classroom learning and on-the-job training
Gain knowledge of company products, policies, and procedures
Complete a Portfolio of Evidence for submission to the Sector Education and Training Authority (SETA)
Maintain logbooks for work-based learning
Complete assessments and achieve required competencies
Demonstrate skills in system usage and operational processes
Uphold Momentum Metropolitan’s values and professional conduct
