The Greater Oudtshoorn Municipality, in partnership with the Department of Police Oversight and Community Safety, invites unemployed youth to apply for the 2025 Peace Officer / Traffic Warden Training Programme. This is a unique opportunity to receive accredited training and launch a rewarding career in law enforcement.
Programme Details
- Position: Peace Officer / Traffic Warden Trainee
- Number of Posts: 20
- Location: Oudtshoorn, Western Cape
- Department: Community Services – Law Enforcement Division
- Training Duration: 30 days (Fully funded by the department)
- Closing Date: 14 March 2025 at 12H00
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify, applicants must:
Have a Matric/Grade 12 certificate
Be between 20 and 35 years old
Have a clear criminal record (or provide proof of application)
Be currently unemployed
Reside within the Greater Oudtshoorn Municipal Area
Hold a learner’s or valid driver’s license
