The South African Human Rights Commission (SAHRC) invites unemployed graduates to apply for its six-month Internship Programme.
Position Details
- Job Title: Admin Intern
- Stipend: R7,918.21 per month
- Duration: 6-month contract
- Location: Provincial Office – Eastern Cape

Requirements
✔ Administration / Secretarial Diploma
✔ Knowledge of MS Office & SAP
✔ Understanding of confidentiality requirements
✔ General administration knowledge
Key Responsibilities
Manage telephone inquiries professionally and efficiently
Provide receptionist duties, including receiving and referring visitors
Assist with procurement of office goods and services
Ensure office cleanliness and attend to any required cleaning duties
Support the Admin Officer with document management
Record and maintain office inventory, alerting the Admin Officer of office needs
Perform general admin duties, including typing, filing, and minute-taking
Assist in locating diarized files and retrieving records for complainants
Facilitate car requisitions for provincial staff
Assist with stationery stock-taking on a monthly basis
Purchase office groceries as needed
Manage boardroom and common room bookings
Maintain records of incoming and outgoing correspondence and distribute accordingly
Scan and digitize documents as requested
Note: Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, Email, and Internet) is a general requirement for all applicants.
