Job Description
CODE is seeking a Shop Assistant to enhance the customer shopping experience by providing expert product knowledge, maintaining exceptional store standards, staying updated with fashion trends, and minimizing stock losses.
Minimum Requirements
Education: Grade 12 (Matric)
Experience: At least 1 year in a similar retail environment
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service & Sales
- Provide outstanding customer service at all times
- Assist customers with product selection to maximize sales
- Process customer purchases efficiently through the tills
Stock & Merchandising
- Ensure new and replenished stock is correctly displayed
- Maintain accurate ticketing and visual displays
- Assist in implementing action plans to reduce stock losses
Store Operations & Compliance
- Support the Store Manager with daily operational tasks
- Ensure all store equipment is secured and accounted for
- Adhere to health & safety regulations
- Work towards achieving sales targets (daily, weekly, monthly)
