Job Opportunity
The Shoprite Group is seeking skilled and motivated individuals for the Stock Controller position at Medirite Plus Platinum Junction in Rustenburg, North West. This role is essential in ensuring optimal stock levels through effective inventory management. The Stock Controller will oversee the accurate receiving of goods, ensuring smooth stock movement to and from the store, suppliers, and distribution centers.

Key Responsibilities
- Receive goods accurately by verifying deliveries against invoices.
- Timely and precise capturing of received goods into the system.
- Ensure correct quantities, conditions, and variants of goods delivered match invoices.
- Process returns to suppliers in compliance with company SOPs.
- Maintain an organized and efficient storeroom.
- Assist in monitoring and controlling high-risk stock.
- Identify discrepancies and report them to management.
- Return unordered or damaged goods and complete credit notes as per company policies.
- Perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy boxes and offloading pallets.
- Support other departments as required based on operational needs.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential Qualifications:
- Grade 12 (Matric) certification.
Required Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a retail/FMCG store operations environment.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of retail/FMCG stock management principles.
- High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Strong problem-solving and time-management abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Office 365.
- Knowledge of SAP systems.
- Strong numerical skills and effective communication abilities.
