About the Learnership Programme
VKB Group is offering an exciting 12-month Learnership Programme aimed at unemployed individuals in the Free State. This opportunity allows participants to gain practical experience and earn an NQF Level 1 qualification in Plant Production.

Eligibility Criteria
- Must be unemployed
- Minimum qualification: Grade 9 or equivalent
- Passion for agriculture and plant production
- Ability to work in outdoor environments under varying conditions
- Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with plant production activities under professional supervision
- Participate in crop management and maintenance tasks, including planting, irrigation, and harvesting
- Learn soil preparation, fertilization, and pest control techniques
- Follow safety and environmental protocols when handling plants and machinery
- Gain practical experience in nursery management, plant propagation, and cultivation
- Operate and maintain basic plant production equipment
- Complete practical assignments as part of the learnership
