About the Role

AVBOB is seeking a Call Centre Administration Clerk to join its Centurion-based team. This permanent role is responsible for supporting the external call centre with accurate and timely administrative services, ensuring efficient processing of policy-related tasks.


Key Responsibilities

  • Handle daily administrative requests from external call centres
  • Communicate professionally with clients and stakeholders
  • Process policy updates (additions, increases, reinstatements)
  • Manage and schedule debit order deductions and changes
  • Verify the accuracy of interdepartmental change requests
  • Provide voice recordings and assist with complaint resolutions
  • Distribute non-payment and provisional lapse data monthly
  • Generate quotations and policy information upon request
  • Maintain a secure record of voice recordings and admin changes
  • Prepare and compile reports on progress, production, and quality
  • Participate in collaboration meetings with external call centres
  • Support lead generation admin tasks for specific centres

Requirements

  • Grade 12 (Matric)
  • 1–2 years relevant administrative experience
  • Long-term insurance experience (advantageous)
  • Background in call centre operations (beneficial)
  • Strong administrative and communication skills
