Purpose of the Role
To deliver efficient, professional call services that enhance the customer experience, build strong client relationships, and uphold Nedbank’s high service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow daily schedules and work plans to meet performance targets
- Handle customer calls with professionalism and in line with Nedbank’s values
- Escalate unresolved queries to management by logging cases in the system
- Meet SLA standards by answering 90% of calls within 60 seconds (90/60 SLA)
- Generate monthly sales leads by offering appropriate Nedbank products
- Prevent potential losses by accurately capturing all client interactions
- Support internal transformation and culture-building initiatives
- Participate in corporate social responsibility (CSR) projects
- Recommend improvements to systems, policies, and processes
- Stay up to date with industry regulations and internal standards
- Ensure compliance with risk and operational protocols
- Uphold Nedbank’s vision and values in all interactions
- Take ownership of personal development through training and certifications
- Share knowledge to maintain consistency across the team
- Actively listen to customer concerns and clarify key points
- Provide regular feedback to management and keep stakeholders informed
Minimum Qualifications
- Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate
Preferred Qualifications
- Certificate in Call Centre Operations or a related post-matric qualification
Minimum Experience Required
- 6 to 12 months of experience in a call centre or customer service environment
