SITA is seeking motivated and qualified individuals for the permanent Admin Assistant role at our Erasmuskloof office in Pretoria. This is a great opportunity to support our Internal Audit Division and contribute to operational success.
Purpose of the Role
To provide comprehensive administrative support to the sub-department and ensure smooth corporate operations. Responsibilities include managing correspondence, scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and supporting communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Record and manage all incoming and outgoing correspondence
- Compile and distribute meeting minutes, presentations, and official communication
- Perform general office duties and day-to-day administrative functions
- Organize staff meetings and workshops, handling all logistics
- Coordinate travel and accommodation bookings in line with SITA travel policies
- Assist with sub-departmental budgeting and reporting
- Ensure documentation complies with internal quality standards
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 (NQF Level 4)
- A relevant recognized short course (NQF Level 4 – Certificate of Competence)
- MS Office certification (advantageous)
Experience:
- 1 to 2 years of relevant administrative experience
Preferred:
- Experience supporting an executive/manager in a Legal or Audit environment
- Background in an audit or law firm is advantageous
Technical Competencies
- Strong knowledge of office administration and records management
- Basic understanding of bookkeeping
- Report writing and business communication skills
- Statistical analysis and use of office equipment
