Job Purpose
To ensure exceptional customer service and assist with daily store operations at the Point of Sale (POS), delivering a positive and efficient shopping experience for all customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently handle all POS duties, including scanning, processing payments, and completing customer transactions.
- Ensure accuracy in handling cash and processing ClubCard rewards.
- Promote in-store specials and inform customers to increase sales and satisfaction.
- Provide professional, friendly service as a visible brand ambassador.
- Maintain store cleanliness and merchandising standards.
- Stay updated on product ranges, promotions, and events to provide accurate customer information.
Required Knowledge
- Basic math skills
- Understanding of the retail/FMCG environment, including merchandising and promotions
- Familiarity with stock management processes

Qualifications & Experience
Education:
- Essential: Grade 12
- Desirable: Minimum 50% in both Mathematics and English at Grade 12 level
Experience:
- Prior experience in a customer-facing role within retail or FMCG is advantageous
