Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 10 (NQF Level 2)
- Grade C PSIRA Registration
- Valid Driver’s License
- SAPS-issued Firearm Competency Certificate
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a high-risk security environment
- Medically fit according to a risk-based assessment (Sibanye-Stillwater Occupational Health Centre)
- Must pass security screening and clearance
Advantageous Qualifications:
- Certification in:
- Crowd Control Management
- Tactical Firearm Handling
- Defence and Restraint Techniques
- Advanced Driving
- Business-use firearm handling (handgun, shotgun, self-loading rifle, carbine)
Key Responsibilities:
- Patrolling & Guarding: Secure company assets through routine patrolling and infrastructure checks
- Access Control: Implement entry/exit procedures; search personnel and vehicles
- Incident Reporting: Log suspicious activities and incidents in the CiMMS system
- Crowd Control: Participate in crowd facilitation and respond to incidents
- Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain effective interdepartmental communication
- Cost-Conscious Operations: Support company cost-saving and value-aligned initiatives
