Unilever invites driven and passionate individuals to apply for its 2025 Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) Internship Programme.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must hold a completed qualification in one of the following fields:
- Safety Management
- Occupational Health
- Environmental Management
- Environmental Science or related disciplines
Purpose of the Role
This internship is designed to provide hands-on experience and professional growth within the SHE discipline. The successful candidate will support the SHE team with both administrative and operational tasks, contributing to Unilever’s commitment to safety and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in reviewing and updating SHE procedures
- Participate in Risk Assessments and Environmental Aspects & Impacts reviews
- Support incident investigations
- Communicate updates to procedures and SHE-related information through meetings, notice boards, and internal communication platforms
- Coordinate and report on SHE statistics and performance data
- Collaborate with SHE coordinators to implement audit plans and corrective actions (e.g., hygiene inspections, first aid box checks, housekeeping, area inspections)
- Maintain trackers to monitor progress on SHE initiatives
- Lead two key projects to develop personal SHE skills and drive improvements within the site
- Conduct SHE inductions for contractors
