Minimum Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12 certificate (This is essential)
- Prior experience in administrative or office work (especially in public service) will give you a strong advantage
- Computer literacy is a must—you’ll be working with digital systems daily
- Having a NaTIS registration will work in your favor, although it’s not mandatory
- You must have no criminal record, and there must be no pending criminal or disciplinary cases against you
- Candidates must be flexible and willing to be deployed to any location within the Tshwane metro area

Your Daily Responsibilities
As an Administrative Officer, you’ll be a crucial part of the team responsible for maintaining the efficiency and integrity of administrative processes within the City of Tshwane’s traffic management and legal services divisions. Your work will involve:
- Performing general administrative duties within Bureau Sections 341, 54 and 56 offices
- Managing repayments and handling reconciliations related to fines and penalties
- Supporting legal processes through filing, preparing court rolls, handling cashier duties, and maintaining accurate archiving records
These tasks ensure that legal and traffic-related documentation is processed properly, contributing to law enforcement, transparency, and public accountability.
Deployment and Work Environment
This role is based in the greater Tshwane metro area, but you must be open to being placed at any of our offices depending on operational needs. Whether you’re stationed in a bustling regional center or a more community-based branch, your work will be valued and impactful.
