Administrative Clerk x2 – Department of Agriculture & Rural Development (Free State)

Position Overview
The Free State Department of Agriculture and Rural Development is recruiting two qualified individuals for the position of Administrative Clerk. These roles will provide general administrative support within the Transport Services and Facilities Management unit.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 certificate (or equivalent)
- No prior experience required
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide general clerical and administrative support
- Record, store, and retrieve correspondence and data
- Maintain registers, statistics, and filing systems
- Handle photocopying, faxing, and general enquiries
- Assist with supply chain functions (e.g., obtain quotes, complete procurement forms)
- Support personnel administration (leave, travel, accommodation, attendance registers)
- Assist with financial administration (expenditure tracking, travel claims, petty cash)
