Duties Include:
- Assist with installation and maintenance of low/medium voltage electrical networks
- Lay cables, install poles, test circuits and replace components
2. General Worker (Roads & Stormwater) – 10 Posts
Department: Infrastructure & Development
Salary: R142,600.65 per annum (excluding benefits)
Requirements:
- Grade 10
- 12–18 months’ experience in road and stormwater maintenance
- Good communication skills
Duties Include:
- Assist with road construction and stormwater system maintenance
- Load/unload materials, clean work areas, and guide equipment during hoisting/placement
3. General Worker – Pound Operations – 2 Posts
Department: Community Services
Salary: R142,600.65 per annum (excluding benefits)
Requirements:
- Minimum 6 months of relevant experience
Duties Include:
- Clean kennels and vehicles
- Maintain animal water supply
- Assist during animal auctions and help load animals into pound trucks
4. General Worker – Refuse Removal – 3 Posts
Department: Community Services
Salary: R142,600.65 per annum (excluding benefits)
Requirements:
- Grade 9 or ABET Level 4
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills
Duties Include:
- Inspect, separate, and transport waste
- Record and report waste volumes accurately
- Perform related duties as instructed by the Waste Management Officer
