Position Available: Supply Chain Management Intern (x1)


Position Details

  • Title: SRP Intern
  • Department: Strategy, Research & Planning
  • Reporting To: SRP Manager
  • Location: Johannesburg, Gauteng
  • Stipend: R10,500.00 per month
  • Experience Required: None
  • Duration: 24 months

Minimum Requirements

  • Matric / Grade 12 Certificate
  • National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in:
    • Supply Chain Management
    • Logistics / Purchasing Management
    • Or a related field
  • A Bachelor’s Degree (NQF Level 7) in the above-mentioned fields is an added advantage

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with contract management and regulatory compliance (PFMA, PPPFA, BBBEE, SCM regulations)
  • Evaluate tenders (RFQ, RFP, RFB)
  • Track contracts, invoices, and relevant documentation
  • Resolve supply chain issues with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure document management aligns with ISO standards
  • Provide general administrative support

Skills & Attributes

  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
  • Proactive and well-organized
  • Knowledge of public sector SCM legislation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
