The City of Johannesburg is seeking motivated individuals for short-term contract positions as EPWP Opportunity Center Cleaners.

Department: Department of Economic Development
Branch: Sustainable Employment Facilitation
Locations: Various opportunity centers across Johannesburg (regions B, C, D, E, F, and G—specific wards listed below)
- Region B (Ward 82)
- Region C (Ward 70)
- Region D (Ward 46)
- Region E (Ward 32, 75)
- Region F (Ward 57)
- Region G (Ward 18)
Salary: R7,000 per month (all-inclusive stipend)
Responsibilities:
- Perform general cleaning duties, including dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and washing in and around the Opportunity Centre.
- Maintain clean floors and regularly empty trash bins.
- Prepare and serve beverages during meetings, training sessions, and workshops.
- Provide general office support.
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 10
- Grade 12 (advantageous)
- No prior experience required
