Job Overview:
Clinix Health Group is looking for a responsible and experienced Driver to transport patients and other resources safely, professionally, and on time. The successful candidate must adhere to all road safety regulations and internal transport protocols.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience:
- Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent
- Valid Code 10 Driver’s License with a Professional Driving Permit (PDP)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a professional driver
- Clean driving record (no infringements or violations)
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily pre-trip vehicle inspections in line with road safety regulations
- Report any vehicle maintenance issues to the Fleet Manager
- Complete and maintain daily logbooks and inspection sheets
- Safely transport patients, employees, and other goods as needed
- Prioritize delivery requests for efficiency in time and fuel usage
- Ensure secure parking of vehicles and safekeeping of keys
- Refuel vehicles before weekends and public holidays
- Ensure all onboard equipment is functional
- Keep the vehicle clean and well-maintained
