About the Role
Northlink TVET College invites qualified and motivated individuals to apply for 36 General Assistant positions. This opportunity is ideal for those with basic general work experience who are eager to learn and contribute.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 10 certificate
- 1–2 years of relevant experience (e.g., general work)
- Physically fit; able to lift and move heavy items
- Willing to learn and available to work overtime when necessary
Key Responsibilities
- General cleaning: offices, passages, windows, bins, grounds, etc.
- Assist foreman with maintenance and tool upkeep
- Move furniture and equipment
- Assist in store functions: stock counting, packing, and cleaning storerooms
- Waste removal and hygiene maintenance
- Refill supplies: toilet paper, soap, air fresheners
- Clean and maintain kitchen utensils and machines (e.g., vacuum, microwave)
