Job Description
The City of Ekurhuleni is seeking qualified and motivated individuals to join the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Police Department as Security Guards. This permanent role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the safety and security of the community.
Key Responsibilities
- Secure premises, assets, and personnel to ensure a safe environment.
- Perform access control duties and enforce safety protocols.
- Execute administrative functions to support operational efficiency.
- Report incidents and assist during emergencies.
- Monitor and operate CCTV systems to prevent crime and protect property.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
- Basic Security Course certification (PSIRA).
- Current PSIRA registration as a Security Officer (minimum Grade C).
- PSIRA Grade A will be an added advantage.
- No criminal record.
- At least 1 year of relevant security experience.
