Job Summary:
As a Cashier, you will be responsible for accurately handling cash transactions in a fast-paced environment. This role requires sound knowledge of basic counting principles, meticulous accuracy, and the ability to work weekends and public holidays.
Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service with strong interpersonal skills.
- Maintain a high level of detail orientation in all transactions.
- Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Work efficiently under pressure to manage large volumes of cash.
- Generate and complete receipts for all transactions.
- Coordinate cash collections with Fidelity Guards & Coin Security.
- Reconcile and balance cash drawers.
- Prepare and manage daily banking deposits.
Qualifications:
- Grade 12 or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year of cashier experience.
- Proven ability to reconcile cash accurately.
- Willingness to work overtime and weekend shifts.
