About the Role
Maluti TVET College is looking for a dedicated and reliable Campus Cleaner to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment at our Corporate Office. If you have a strong work ethic and take pride in keeping spaces spotless, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean offices, corridors, boardrooms, and classrooms
- Dust and wax furniture
- Sweep, scrub, and wax floors
- Vacuum and shampoo carpets
- Clean walls, windows, and floors
- Empty and clean dirt bins, remove waste paper
- Freshen office areas
- Clean and restock kitchens (basins, utensils) and restrooms (soap, toilet paper, hand towels)
- Maintain cleaning materials and equipment
- Report broken equipment and request cleaning supplies
- Perform other reasonable duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 10 / Standard 8 / NCV Level 2 or equivalent
- Grade 12 / Standard 10 / NCV Level 4 (advantageous)
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of hygiene practices
- Understanding of facilities policies and relevant legislation
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Problem-solving skills
