About the Opportunity:
The Free State Department of Community Safety, Roads and Transport invites applications from suitable candidates to fill sixteen (16) Cleaner positions. This is a valuable opportunity to support the department’s efforts in maintaining a clean and safe environment for staff and the public.
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 10 or equivalent qualification recognized by SAQA.

- Knowledge of cleaning products, materials, and equipment
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment

- Awareness of health and safety procedures
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Clean offices, storerooms, corridors, elevators, and boardrooms
- Dust and remove waste
- Provide water during meetings and refill water coolers
- Wash walls and windows
- Clean machinery and general kitchen utensils
- Scrub toilets and polish floors
- Vacuum carpets using a vacuum cleaner
- Supply toilet paper in restrooms
- Maintain and store cleaning materials and equipment properly
