Administration clerk

Are you an experienced administrative clerk looking for a new challenge? Look no further! Our established Asian food distribution company based in Montague Gardens, Cape Town is seeking a candidate to assist with the daily administration of the office functions. As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for providing core administrative support to the daily operation of the business, which will include invoicing, sales, query resolution, and general office administration.

To be considered for this position, you must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role and have knowledge of Sage Pastel Accounting. As the Administration Clerk, you will also assist the Bookkeeper in keeping the accounts up to date by providing administrative support.

We are looking for someone who can operate within a team environment, maintain confidentiality, and has excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. You should also have strong decision-making skills and the ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally. Computer skills are essential, including the ability to operate Pastel Accounting, spreadsheet, and word-processing programs at a highly proficient level. Stress management and time management skills are also crucial for success in this role.
