About the Opportunity
Transnet is hiring 44 General Workers to assist its RNC Construction teams in the Western Cape. These are contract-based roles focused on supporting maintenance and construction of Overhead Track Equipment (OHTE).

Minimum Requirements
Education:
- Minimum Grade 9
Additional Requirements:
- Willingness to work extended hours or relocate if needed
- Must be punctual and of sober habits
- Must be physically fit and able to work in tough weather and environmental conditions
Key Responsibilities
- Support RNC construction teams with general labour duties
- Load, offload, and handle construction materials
- Clean work sites and tools
- Remove debris, stack materials, and maintain site order
- Operate basic, non-mechanised construction tools
