The Role: Clinic Packer
As a Clinic Packer, you will play a critical role in ensuring mobile blood donation clinics are fully equipped and operational. Your work will involve packing supplies, managing equipment, and supporting logistical functions to guarantee seamless clinic operations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Preparation & Packing of Supplies
- Assess clinic size and requirements to determine appropriate supply quantities.
- Follow checklists to pack boxes, hampers, and equipment.
- Maintain inventory control to avoid shortages and wastage.
- Coordinate with team members to meet clinic-specific needs.
2. Equipment Management & Quality Control
- Pack and secure equipment for transport.
- Inspect, clean, and validate equipment functionality.
- Arrange repairs, replacements, and routine maintenance.
- Comply with SANBS safety and quality protocols.
3. Administrative Duties
- Update packing logs, inventory records, and maintenance schedules.
- Generate supply and equipment usage reports.
- Organize documentation, manifests, and compliance records.
Job Requirements
Physical & Operational Demands
- Flexibility: Willing to work overtime, shifts, evenings, or weekends when required.
- Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 14kg, and assist with loading/unloading vehicles.
- Mobility: Comfortable working in mobile environments, adhering to strict safety protocols.

Minimum Requirements
- Education: Grade 12 / Matric or equivalent.
- Driver’s License: Valid Code 08 license.
- Experience: At least 1 year of safe driving experience.
- (Advantageous) Previous experience in logistics, warehousing, or healthcare-related packing.
