Vacancy: Reach Truck Driver

Job Purpose:
- Movement of palletized stock in accordance with operational requirements.
- Application of the check-MOVE-check Process for stock movement.
- Accurate and efficient picking of stock.
- Ensuring safe movement of stock between locations.
- Assisting with stock take and cycle counts.
- Timely and accurate service delivery.
- Upholding the integrity of the company while maintaining the highest standards of customer service and minimizing losses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrating honesty, pride, and attention to detail in job performance.
- Loading and offloading of vehicles and containers.
- Clear understanding of customer requirements.
- Ensuring compliance with stacking norms for pallets.
- Minimizing damages.
- Maintaining the highest standards of housekeeping.
- Conducting daily checks of operational machinery and completing checklists.
- Ensuring correct use of MHE (Material Handling Equipment) and promptly reporting any defects.
- Reporting and recording any non-conformity regarding customer merchandise.
- Maintaining high levels of hygiene for MHE.
- Working within designated operating areas and performing ad-hoc duties as needed.
- Following standard operating procedures and safe working practices.
- Assisting in the induction of new employees.
- Performing administrative tasks in line with SOP.
- Completion of daily MHE checklists.
- Safe and correct operation of equipment.
Qualifications:
- Valid Reach Truck license.
- 1-2 years of driving experience.
Skills/Competencies/Experiences:
- Computer literacy.

- Ability to work within a rapidly changing environment.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in enforcing Health & Safety procedures and identifying hazards.
