Job Responsibilities: A Variety of Tasks to Develop Your Skills
As a Casual General Assistant, you will play a key role in our manufacturing process by ensuring the smooth production of high-quality respiratory protection products.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assembling: Build product components using hand and power tools.
- Sorting: Organize and prepare materials for production.
- Cutting: Measure and cut raw materials accurately.
- Sewing: Operate sewing machines to create product components.
- Molding: Assist with mold preparation and product shaping.
- Aligning: Ensure proper alignment and fit of components.
- Packaging: Label, wrap, and box finished products for shipment.
- Operating Machinery: Use production equipment safely and efficiently (training provided).
- Monitoring Output: Inspect and test products to ensure quality standards are met.
- Compliance & Safety: Follow all safety procedures and quality regulations.
- Workplace Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
Requirements: Essential Qualifications
To qualify for the Casual General Assistant position, applicants must have:
- Matric (Grade 12) Certificate
- Residence in Centurion or nearby areas
