Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for this learnership programme, candidates must meet the following conditions and provide police-certified copies of all qualifications and a copy of their Identity Document:
- Educational Qualifications: Grade 11 or Equivalent with Maths and Science.
- Skills: Interpersonal communication skills are needed and essential.
- Flexibility: Must be able to work rotating shifts.
- Work Conditions: Must be able to work underground.
- Citizenship: South African Citizenship.
- Criminal Record: Clear Criminal Record.
- Age: Must be 18 years or older.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience
While not mandatory, the following qualifications and experience will be beneficial:
- Competency Certificates: Competency “B” and “A”.
- Underground Experience: Experience in stoping and development.
- Trackless Mine Experience: Background in trackless mining.
- Leadership Experience: Having worked as a team leader on both stoping and development projects.

Health and Safety Compliance
Please note that the successful candidate will need to be declared fit by our Occupational Health Practitioner (OHP).
Key Performance Areas
- Compliance: Adhere to and comply with Mine Health and Safety Standards and Regulations.
- Training: Successfully complete all theoretical and practical modules related to the Learnership.
