Your Role: Key Responsibilities
As a General Worker, you will perform a variety of essential production and greenhouse tasks.
Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Seed Counting & Packaging: Accurately count, label, and seal seeds to maintain quality and prevent contamination.
- Tray Preparation: Soak, wash, and dry seedling trays to ensure cleanliness and optimal growth conditions.
- Seedling Mix Preparation: Blend materials according to formulas to create nutrient-rich mixes for trays and pots.
- Tray & Pot Filling: Evenly fill trays and pots with prepared mix, ensuring proper compaction and stability.
- Sowing Seeds: Sow seeds according to sowing lists, maintaining correct spacing and depth.
- Seedling Movement: Transport trays between germination rooms and greenhouses carefully and efficiently.
- Irrigation Setup: Connect drippers to irrigation lines to maintain consistent watering.
- Transplanting: Move seedlings from trays to pots or soil, ensuring gentle handling and correct planting.
- Trellising: Prepare and attach ropes to support plant growth.
- Harvesting: Identify and pick flowers at optimal maturity following harvesting guidelines.
