Graduate Internship Programme 2026 , The Construction Education and Training Authority (CETA) invites unemployed graduates to apply for its 2026 Graduate Internship Programme in Midrand, South Africa.

Programme overview

• Target group: Unemployed South African graduates under 35, with relevant post-matric qualifications, seeking workplace exposure in a public entity environment.

The programme aims to:

• Provide structured workplace exposure aligned to your qualification.
• Offer practical administrative and operational experience.
• Strengthen employability through mentoring and hands-on learning.
• Build understanding of the SETA environment and public sector governance.

Internship role and duties

Interns will be placed in specific departments/units and perform entry‑level administrative and support tasks. Graduate Internship Programme 2026 

Key responsibilities:

• Perform general administrative and functionary tasks within the allocated unit.
• Handle correspondence and respond to inquiries professionally.
• Maintain filing systems and accurate record management.
• Provide administrative support during budgeting processes.
• Assist with information gathering and documentation for internal and external audits.
• Support data collection, collation, and analysis for monthly and quarterly reports.
• Prepare draft reports and assist with compliance documentation.
• Perform delegated duties as assigned by supervisors and managers.
• Prepare meeting agendas and take accurate minutes.
• Assist in preparing at least one presentation per quarter (or as required).

Eligibility requirements

Applicants must:

• Be South African citizens with a valid South African ID.
• Be under 35 years of age.
• Hold a relevant post-matric qualification from a recognised higher learning institution.
• Not have participated in any previous SETA-sponsored internship programme.
• Not have been employed previously in a permanent position.
• Submit a detailed Curriculum Vitae (CV).
• Submit a motivation letter explaining why they should be considered.
