Program Overview
This learnership is a structured program that integrates theoretical training with on-the-job learning. By enrolling in this program, learners will have the chance to work towards an NQF 3 Personal Leadership Development SAQA registered qualification (ID: 83946) – National Certificate in Management. This qualification is vital for individuals aiming to develop their careers in the food and beverage packaging environment. It offers recognition, further mobility, and portability within the beverage manufacturing and fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector.
What You Will Learn
Participants in the Packaging Learnership Phase 2 will gain hands-on experience in the following areas:
Bottling Processes and Procedures
Learners will be introduced to the various bottling processes and procedures, gaining an in-depth understanding of the operational workflow within Coca-Cola’s state-of-the-art bottling facilities.

Skills, Experience & Education Requirements
To qualify for this learnership, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Qualifications/Experience: Must have completed the National Certificate in Food and Beverage Packaging Operations NQF 3.
- Citizenship: Must be a South African citizen.
- Education: Grade 12 with Mathematics and Physical Science (Maths Literacy is not accepted).
- Employment Equity: Must be an Employment Equity candidate.
- Previous Qualifications: Must not have previously completed the same qualification/learnership at another company or organization.
- Employment Status: Must have been unemployed at the time of appointment.
- Age Requirement: Must be between 18-35 years of age.
- Additional Qualifications: N5/N6 qualifications are advantageous.
