About the Role
As a Graduate Intern – Admin Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting operations at the SanlamConnect East Coast Regional Office. This opportunity will allow you to develop your administrative capabilities, enhance your understanding of financial operations, and contribute to the success of a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities – What You’ll Do
- Provide general administrative support to regional managers and leadership.
- Assist Financial Advisers and Brokers with daily client service and documentation tasks.
- Coordinate internal and external events, managing logistics and communications.
- Monitor and track new business applications and outstanding premium payments.
- Handle account payment processing and support internal financial controls.
- Participate in training sessions, workshops, and mentorship opportunities.
- Collaborate across teams to help improve operational efficiency and workflow.
Minimum Requirements – What You’ll Need
- Matric / Grade 12 Certificate
- A completed National Diploma or Degree in a business-related field (preferably:
Marketing, Financial Planning, Human Resources, or Legal) - Currently unemployed and available for full-time work
- South African citizenship
- Little or no prior work experience
- Computer literacy with proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
