Key Responsibilities
- Customer Service
- Assist walk-in customers with product selection, pricing, and availability.
- Respond promptly to inquiries and direct customers as needed.
- Maintain a helpful, friendly attitude to ensure excellent customer experience.
- Stock Management
- Unload deliveries and receive stock per store procedures.
- Check accuracy against delivery notes; report discrepancies.
- Arrange and merchandise stock on shelves as per guidelines.
- Rotate stock for freshness (FIFO), and ensure correct pricing and display.
- Store Cleanliness
- Keep store environment neat and tidy at all times.
- Sweep, clean shelves, maintain safe aisles, and report hazards to management.
- Safety & Security
- Follow all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Operate equipment safely; participate in safety drills and report incidents.
- Loss Prevention
- Stay alert to prevent theft, damage, or spoilage.
- Assist with regular stock counts and inventory checks.
- Team Collaboration
- Work closely with team members to achieve store goals and targets.
- Attend meetings, training sessions, and adapt to changing store needs.
