We are seeking a motivated and reliable Packer to join our Beverages operating unit.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 / NQF 4 equivalent qualification
- Minimum 1 year of manufacturing experience
Knowledge & Skills
- Effective written and verbal communication
- Storage and stock control
- Safety, Health & Environmental awareness
- Cycle counting and reconciliation
- Stock rotation (FIFO method)
Key Responsibilities
- Pack cooled products into crates by size and quantity
- Stack crates onto pallets
- Verify Best Before dates and apply correct labels
- Follow daily production plans for packing
- Remove completed or defective products/materials
- Maintain good housekeeping and cleanliness
- Participate in safety programs and comply with PPE requirements
- Report food safety or quality issues immediately
- Assist in process improvements
- Work shifts as required
