Position Overview
Dis-Chem Pharmacies is hiring a Fixed Term Cashier for its Raslouw store in Pretoria. The successful candidate will deliver top-tier customer service at the point of sale while ensuring accurate transaction processing in line with company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide friendly and efficient service at checkout
- Accurately record transactions in compliance with standard operating procedures
- Handle various forms of payment (cash, cards, vouchers, coupons, loyalty cards)
- Report customer compliments or complaints to the Frontline Supervisor
- Process returns and exchanges as per company policy
- Stay informed about current promotions and product offerings
- Ensure all items are scanned and paid for before leaving the store
- Follow company safety and security procedures
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric certificate
- Computer literacy (MS Office)
- Strong numerical skills
- Basic customer service abilities
