Role Overview
As a Security Guard at FlySafair, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of facilities, employees, and assets. Your vigilance and adherence to security protocols will be essential to maintaining a secure environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Access Control: Regulate entry/exit of personnel, vehicles, materials, and company assets.
- Premises Patrol: Conduct routine patrols of facilities and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
- Incident Response: Stay alert for disturbances, report incidents, and engage with relevant stakeholders.
- Violator Removal: Safely assist in removing violators while following company policies.
- Searches: Perform searches of vehicles and valuables to enforce compliance.
- Ad Hoc Duties: Support additional security and operational needs when required.
Minimum Requirements
- Education: Grade 12 or equivalent (essential).
- Certification: Valid Security Certificate, Grade C (essential).
- Availability: Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Knowledge: Basic security knowledge and understanding of security protocols (essential).
- Aviation security knowledge is an advantage.
- Experience: Prior security experience preferred (not mandatory).
